Development

RMA as a developer is a general partner in 750 affordable dwelling units of housing created under the HUD Section 8 and the New York City 80/20 housing programs. We have also partnered in the development and sale of one and two family homes in Roslyn, New Cassel, Long Island and currently in Brownsville, Brooklyn, where, under the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development New Foundations Program, RMA is co-developer for 23 attached two-family market price homes.

RMA also enters into joint ventures with builders and non-profit organizations for housing developments ranging from single family homes to apartment houses. Its management portfolio of some 100 buildings includes five projects for the NYC Housing Authority, one of which (Marcy Greene Houses) was designated by HUD in 2000 and 2001 as the Number One NYCHA HUD Project.
